The following is a list of some of the things you will need to consider when buying a house and it will help you to get things moving if you are able to let your Solicitor have as many of the answers as possible when you are first in touch with him or her.
- Address of Property you are buying
- Full names of all Buyers
-
Purchase Price
- Is this purchase dependent upon the sale of an existing property?
- Do you require a Mortgage
Name of Lender
Amount of Loan - If you require a Mortgage, details of intended occupiers over 17 years old, apart from yourself
- How will you provide the balance of the purchase price – e.g. savings or proceeds of sale
- Whether or not you will be taking out another loan to help purchase the property
- Are there any unusual features of the property or transaction?
-
What sort of survey do you need?
- Do you have a specific time scale?
- Do you intend living at the Property or is this a buy to let?
- If there is more than one buyer, how do you wish to legally hold the Property? (We can provide an explanatory leaflet about the options)
